UC Berkeley’s Undocumented Student Program (USP) provides guidance and support to undocumented undergraduates at Cal.
The Haas Undocumented Community Resource Center is a community space where students have access to academic counseling, mental health support, peer support, and opportunities to create learning communities.
We help students develop the unique gifts and talents they each bring to the university while empowering them to achieve.
Our mental health support program provides a confidential space for undocumented students to be seen by a licensed therapist who will collaborate with them on an individual wellness plan. Support varies by each student’s need.
The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) and the Undocumented Students Program have partnered to provide free legal support and resources about immigration law to undocumented students at Cal.
The cost of attending should never be the reason why a student does not pursue a higher education. There are different types of financial aid available based on each student’s profile.

UndocuGrads are super excited to announce that we will be hosting our first guest speaker event of the semester, in celebration of Black History Month. See below for details of the event, which is happening this Friday, February 24, from 4-6 PM at 2515 Channing Way.
Reimagining Undocumented Narratives In celebration of Black History Month, UndocuGrads is hosting Alan Pelaez Lopez to talk about their organizing journey in various migrant organizations, including the Queer Undocumented Immigrant Project, the Student Immigrant Movement, Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement, and the Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project. Recognizing the ubiquitous nature of enduring hardship that is present in the lives of undocumented immigrants, we hope this talk provides an educational perspective that challenges traditional notions of ‘undocumentedness’, specifically the overlooking of Black Undocumented Experiences. In the talk, Alan will also address how Black undocumented migrants resist and reimagine migrant futures.
