Legal Support

The Berkeley Legal Services Program is a partnership between Berkeley Law’s International Human Rights Law Clinic and the Undocumented Students Program to provide legal support and resources about immigration law to undocumented students at Cal.  The Legal Services Program hosts informational workshops and weekly office hours to provide legal information regarding Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and other immigration matters to interested students.

Office hours are held in the Dreamers Resource Center, located in 119 Cesar Chavez Student , every Friday 11am-3pm. Students can drop in or sign up in advance for an appointment to ask any questions about their immigration case.  Students who are eligible to apply for DACA or another immigration status are matched with volunteer attorneys who will represent them in their cases at no charge.

 Students are eligible for:

  Legal Orientation;

            Free legal one-on-one consultation; and

          Financial support with DACA application fee

                                               On a first come first serve basis.

   Please contact us at dreamers@boalthall.berkeley.edu for more information.
