Transcending Beyond Berkeley Fellowship Fellowship InformationAccess to professional development and research opportunities within higher education is very important whether going into the world of work or continuing on in academia. The Transcending Beyond Berkeley (TBB) Fellowship program provides students with tools to present their education, experience and skills effectively in a professional environment and to thrive, regardless of immigration status. TBB Fellows develop as professionals and obtain hands-on experiential learning and networking opportunities. They dedicate 100-120 hours each semester to their specific project and receive a scholarship (amount TBD) upon completion of the fellowship. At the end of the academic year, fellows showcase their projects/learning outcomes. Some Units/Departments that have participated include: Career Engagement, PATH to Care, Department of Art Practice, Department of Psychology, Center for Undergraduate Discovery, Multicultural Community Center, and more. 2024-2025 Recruitment Timeline Campus Partners April 1 – Host Application opens April 16, 1:00-2:00 PM – Host Informational Session May 31 – Priority deadline to submit Host Application June 7 – Host acceptance notification sent via email June 10-July 12 – Student application submission period July 16-26 – Hosts interview student applicants End of July – Hosts send offers to selected student(s) August 28 – TBB Fellowship begins! Students June 10 – Fellowship applications open June 12, 1:00-2:30 PM – Fellow Informational Session July 12 – Deadline to submit fellowship applications July 16-26 – Interview period with potential host(s) End of July – students confirm fellowship placements after receiving offers from hosts August 28 – TBB Fellowship begins!
