IDEAS at Berkeley

IDEAS at Berkeley is dedicated to empowering undocumented students at UC Berkeley. We strive to create a space where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed academically and personally, despite the barriers they may face.

About IDEAS

Our Mission at IDEAS (Improving Dreams, Equity, Access, and Success) is to empower and support the undocumented community at UC Berkeley by building an inclusive space where diverse voices are heard. We are committed to fostering community, strengthening retention, and advocating for equity through tailored programs and civic engagement. Together with allies, we aim to raise awareness of immigration issues and work toward a future where all students, regardless of status, have the opportunity to succeed.

Through community events, leadership development, and advocacy, we address the unique experiences of undocumented students. Our goal is to foster connections, provide resources, and promote equity on campus and beyond.

IDEAS at Berkeley also collaborates with allies to raise awareness of immigration issues, building understanding and solidarity within the broader community. Together, we work to ensure that all students, regardless of immigration status, have the opportunity to pursue their dreams in an inclusive and supportive environment.
