Dear USP Students,

Welcome to Summer 2026! The Undocumented Community Resource Center (in the Student Center) is open Mondays through Thursdays 10am-3pm. Come to the center to study, grab snacks, and be in community! Staff is available 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday in hybrid modality.

Financial Aid Support

Emergency Grant

USP provides limited funding to students needing general or housing-related financial assistance. The Spring 2026 Emergency Grant Application will open Thursday, February 26 through Thursday, April 30th or until funds are exhausted. Learn more about the USP Emergency Grant and access the application here.

In light of the shifting political climate and its potential impact on financial resources for undocumented students, we are excited to announce that FASO Counselor, Catherine Custodio, will be available to support you throughout this summer with your financial aid questions!

Let's Talk/Drop-In

Let's Talk is a casual consult with a licensed mental health provider, which can help you explore resources and discuss how counseling might be helpful. Click here to reserve a 25-minute consult slot.

Note: Let's Talk is not appropriate for students needing urgent help or in the middle of a crisis. Please call CAPS at (510) 642-9494 to speak with a same-day advice counselor.

The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is the legal service provider for USP. EBCLC provides free legal support and resources about immigration law to undocumented UC Berkeley students and, when possible, their undocumented family members.

Undocumented students in graduate and professional degree programs are welcome to utilize the Inclusive Excellence Hub, a supportive space within the Office for Graduate Diversity open to all graduate students. Additionally, they can access services offered by the Undocumented Student Program, including immigration legal support, mental health resources, and financial assistance.
