Dear USP Students,

Welcome to Spring 2025! The Undocumented Community Resource Center (180 Cesar Chavez) is open Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Come to the center to study, grab snacks, and be in community!

Peer Academic Counselors

USP Peer Academic Counselors (PACs) are current undergraduates who serve as student-to-student advisors. PACs can support students with questions about classes, finding resources, and building community on campus.

Students can schedule an appointment to meet with a PAC. Our Spring 2025 PAC Advising Hours will begin on the week of January 21 - 24 and will be available until the last week of instruction for the term.

Financial Aid Support

Emergency Grant & USP Scholarship

USP provides limited funding to students needing general or housing-related financial assistance. The Spring 2025 Emergency Grant application will be open from March 14 - May 2, or once funds are exhausted.

Let's Talk/Drop-In

Let's Talk is a casual consult with a licensed mental health provider, which can help you explore resources and discuss how counseling might be helpful. Click here to reserve a 25-minute consult slot.

Note: Let's Talk is not appropriate for students needing urgent help or in the middle of a crisis. Please call CAPS at (510) 642-9494 to speak with a same-day advice counselor.

The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is the legal service provider for USP. EBCLC provides free legal support and resources about immigration law to undocumented UC Berkeley students and, when possible, their undocumented family members.

Undocumented students in graduate and professional degree programs are welcome to utilize the Inclusive Excellence Hub, a supportive space within the Office for Graduate Diversity open to all graduate students. Additionally, they can access services offered by the Undocumented Student Program, including immigration legal support, mental health resources, and financial assistance.
